Item categorization within Battle Royale and Creative makes very little sense in the case of consumables or limited use items.
- The Flare Gun is listed as a consumable, but the Firework Flare Gun which functions identically, is a ranged utility weapon.
- The Flare Gun and Firework Flare Gun act like explosive weapons, but are not listed as such.
- The Plunger Bow is listed as a crossbow despite being a bow.
- Ranged utility/consumables seem to be random, as items which would be classified as ranged weapons are classified under consumables.
  - The Lump of Coal and Rusty Can are classified as consumables despite being persistent after use.
  - All ranged consumables are used by an external force, but by the player themselves.
- Certain consumable items could be classified as ranged consumables such as the Junk Rift or Storm Flip.
- The air strike is not an explosive weapon despite its attack being entirely explosive.
- The EMP Stealth Camo is classified as an explosive weapon despite behaving like a Power.
Due to the mess that is classifying certain items, they have been classified under different variables.
