The Dual Zangetsu are a Melee Weapon in Blitz Royale that was added in Chapter 7: Season 1.
Functionality
Functionality[]
The Dual Zangetsu include the following actions:
- Attack Combo: Primary attack combo which creates a shockwave on its last attack which travels for 2 tiles and deals 60 damage.
- Air Dash/Dodge: Movement ability which allows the user to dash in a direction when double jumping. (Each dash takes 1% of Durability)
- Getsuga Jujisho: Secondary attack that fires an projectile which deals 100 player damage an pierces through structure without dealing damage to them.
- Falling Strike: Slam attack that sends the user to the ground and deals damage in a small radius.
- Increased Movement Speed (while sprinting): When equipped, the Dual Zangetsu increase movement speed while sprinting.
Using the Dual Zangetsu reduces the durability meter. Once the durability meter reaches 0%, the item breaks and is removed from the player's inventory.

- Use the Air Dash and then Falling Strike repeatedly to get a lot of damage in a short period of time.
- The Air Dash negates fall damage. This can be used to your advantage.
- When approaching someone who has a Dual Zangetsu, try to stay as far from them as possible. If you have a Shockwave Grenade, you can use them to keep the distance between you and them.

- The Dual Zangetsu reuse many sounds from past Fortnite content:
- The attack sounds are from the Kinetic Blade.
- The pickup, Sprint, drop and land sounds are from the Typhoon Blade.
- The Air Jump sounds are from the Mantis Leap ability from Save the World.
- When player use the secondary attack with the Getsuga Jujisho ability, Ichigo Kurosaki's voice line was triggered as he calling out his attack name.
- Most notably that his voice line was reused from the anime itself.
