Enhanced Assault Rifle is an Assault Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 6: Season 4.
Enhanced Assault Rifle is a Mythic version of the Assault Rifle.
Functionality

The Enhanced Assault Rifle is an accurate, fully automatic assault rifle with well rounded stats. It performs best at medium to long range combat.
The Enhanced Assault Rifle is a Hitscan weapon with First Shot Accuracy enabled.
Damage falloff:
- Damage falloff begins at 50 meters (10 tiles).
- Damage steadily decreases down to 80% of its maximum at 75 meters (15 tiles).
- Damage reaches its minimum value of 66% of its maximum at 95 meters (19 tiles).
The Enhanced Assault Rifle can be reloaded whilst aiming and aimed down sights while in midair.

- The Enhanced Assault Rifle has a high DPS and is good at breaking enemy structures fast, much like it's base variant. This also makes it a good alternative to an SMG.
- Crouching with this gun resets its first shot accuracy faster, allowing for more accurate shots. Crouching also reduces its hipfire spread and spread in general.
- While it may have a lower DPS normally than Skye's Assault Rifle, the Enhanced Assault Rifle has a unique property that may make it the better Mythic Assault Rifle variant: a 1.6x headshot multiplier, higher than average for the Assault Rifle class, and enough to do 61 damage a headshot, which rewards accuracy greatly.
- It takes around 0.35 seconds for First Shot Accuracy to reset after a shot is fired and damage fall off begins around 50m (10 tiles). Use this to your advantage by firing single shots or short bursts in long-range engagements.
- The Enhanced Assault Rifle, compared to it's base counterpart, has a decently tighter spread, making it much more accurate by default, allowing it to compete at range against weapons like the O.X.R. Rifle at mid-long range.
Counters[]
- The Enhanced Assault Rifle is still an Assault Rifle at heart, so at range, even with the tighter spread, will need to be tap-fired more often. Using weapons like the Deadeye DMR, which is overall more accurate at range, or the O.X.R. Rifle, which puts out similar damage in higher rarities, but is much more accurate, meaning that despite the slower fire rate, you can comfortably fire it in full auto, can be good counters to the Enhanced Assault Rifle.
