The Heisted Accelerant Shotgun is a Shotgun in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 4: Season 1.
Heisted Accelerant Shotgun is the Exotic version of the Maven Auto Shotgun.
Functionality
Functionality[]
The Heisted Accelerant Shotgun is a fully automatic, medium range Shotgun. Dealing damage with this weapon will grant the player a Pepper Effect and steadily increase the weapon's fire rate, up to a maximum firing rate of 2. These boosts will disappear after 5 seconds of not dealing damage. The Heisted Accelerant Shotgun reloads 1 shell at a time.
The Heisted Accelerant Shotgun is a Hitscan weapon that fires a spread of 10 pellets when both aiming down sights and hipfiring. Aiming down sights tightens the spread of pellets.
Damage falloff:
- Damage falloff begins at 10 meters (2 tiles).
- Damage decreases down to 70% of its maximum at 30 meters ( 6 tiles).
- Damage steadily decreases down to 20% of its maximum at 45 meters (9 tiles).
- It deals damage until 50 meters (10 tiles).
The Heisted Accelerant Shotgun can be reloaded whilst aiming.

- The Heisted Accelerant Shotgun's stacking buffs make its time to kill extremely low. This makes it great for wiping out teams of players very quickly, even when outnumbered.
- It is always good to take shots with the Heisted Accelerant Shotgun even if the opponent is further away than usual for a Shotgun, as even a single hit's buffs can make a huge difference in time to kill.
Counters[]
- The Heisted Accelerant Shotgun is exceptionally strong, to a point where keeping your distance and attempting to force a more ranged fight may be a better move than taking it up close at all.
- Avoid letting the enemy hit multiple consecutive hits in a short time, if they do, try to make space or distance to let their buffs time out.
- If your teammate is knocked by the Heisted Accelerant Shotgun, it may be advisable to wait a bit before rushing in to save them, as the enemy player will have gotten multiple buff stacks from hitting your teammate.
