The Red-Eye Assault Rifle is an Assault Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 4: Season 1.
Red-Eye Assault Rifle has an Exotic variant called Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle and a Mythic variant called Red-Eye Caramba AR.

The Red-Eye Assault Rifle slow firing, high damage assault rifle. It is equipped with a 2x magnification red dot sight, giving the weapon perfect accuracy while aiming down sights.
The Red-Eye Assault Rifle is a Hitscan weapon, with First Shot Accuracy enabled.
Damage falloff:
- Damage falloff begins at 50 meters (10 tiles).
- Damage steadily decreases down to 88% of its maximum at 75 meters (15 tiles).
- Damage reaches its minimum value of 80% of its maximum at 95 meters (19 tiles).
The Red-Eye Assault Rifle can be reloaded while aiming and aimed down sights in midair, but only in modes that have these mechanics enabled.

- The Red-Eye Assault Rifle rides the line between an AR and a DMR, with a very slow fire rate but high damage, accuracy, a decent magazine, and a scope. Thus, the Red-Eye is best treated as a long range weapon, kept for mid-long range engagements.
- The higher than average headshot multiplier on the Red-Eye Assault Rifle makes headshots very rewarding, dealing up to 66 damage a shot.
- When using the Red-Eye Assault Rifle, it is best to run it with a semi-accurate SMG such as the Twin Mag SMG to deal with close-mid range engagements and for structures, since the Red-Eye struggles against structures.
Counters[]
- The Red-Eye Assault Rifle does struggle in raw DPS, and can be a bit unforgiving due to the slower fire rate, so scoped weapons with similar or higher DPS values or higher fire rates such as the Deadeye Assault Rifle or Holo Twister Assault Rifle can be beneficial against someone using the Red-Eye Assault Rifle.
