Marksman Rifles sit in-between Assault Weapons and Sniper Rifles as medium to long ranged scoped rifles. They are intended for longer range combat and reward accuracy greatly. They are hybrids as they work well in both medium and long range combat. They dont perform well in close range combat as they are mostly reliant on scoping in to use them well.

Marksman Rifles dont fare well in close range combat as they are mostly reliant on scoping in to use them well. Therefore Shotguns or Submachine Guns are usually a better choice.

The following Augments apply to Marksman Rifles:

Rifle Recycle	Weapons using medium ammo have a chance not to consume ammo.	Each shot fired from a weapon that uses Medium Bullets has a 20% chance to not consume ammo. Applies to most Marksman Rifles.
Bloodhound	Enemies hit by marksman rifle, bow and sniper shots are marked for a brief duration.
Medium Ammo Amp	Medium Ammo weapons have increased magazine size.	Increases magazine size by 20% for weapons that use Medium Bullets. Applies to most Marksman Rifles.
Steady Hands	Marksman Rifles have reduced recoil.
Scoped Salvo	Scoped weapons deal increased damage but have decreased fire rate.	Marksman Rifles with a scope deal 15% more damage but their fire rate is decreased by 15%.
Marksman Headshots	Marksman Rifle headshots deal increased damage.	Marksman Rifles deal 10% more damage on headshots.
