Strategy Guide
Strategy Guide[]
|
This section outlines a strategy. |
| Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic. |
- The Cobra DMR excels at medium-to-long ranges, especially against assault rifles and other marksman rifles, due to its high fire rate and low recoil.
- The Cobra DMR's bullet drop is low, making it very easy to get used to. To compensate for it, aim a bit ahead of opponents traveling horizontally and a little above distant opponents.
- The Cobra DMR deals very high headshot damage, so always try to land shots near the upper half of your opponent's body to try to land as many headshots as possible.
- At great distances, it's best to fire slower with the Cobra DMR to prevent recoil, conserve ammo, and maintain high accuracy.
- While the Cobra DMR's hip-firing accuracy is poor, it can function at extremely close ranges in an emergency due to its high fire rate.
- Since the Cobra DMR deals reduced structure damage, it's best to only use it to take out structures at long ranges.
- The Cobra DMR lends itself to loadouts that focus heavily on close-range engagements (ex. using a Pump Shotgun and a Submachine Gun) since the Cobra DMR fills the role of a medium-range and long-range weapon.
- While using the Cobra DMR, try not to challenge opponents using sniper rifles, as they can eliminate you in a single shot while you attempt to whittle away at their health. Instead, close the gap to get within a range where sniping isn't as practical.
Counters[]
- As mentioned above, while it may have a higher DPS than most scoped assault rifles, the Cobra DMR will struggle due to firing projectiles, so using an assault rifle with a red-dot at close-mid range can be beneficial when engaging with an opponent wielding a Cobra DMR.
