Modular Combat Shotgun is a Shotgun in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 5: Season 3.
Modular Combat Shotgun has a Mythic version called Megalo Don's Modular Combat Shotgun.
The Modular Combat Assault Rifle has an unmoddable version called Combat Shotgun.
Functionality

Modular Combat Shotgun is a fully automatic shotgun, with a fast firerate and tight spread. It is designed for longer ranged engagements than other shotguns, with its maximum damage taking longer to fall-off. Modular Combat Shotgun reloads 2 shells at a time.
Modular Combat Shotgun is a Hitscan weapon, but fires a spread of 10 pellets when both aiming down sights and hipfiring. Aiming down sights tightens the spread of pellets.
Damage falloff:
- Damage falloff begins at 13 meters (2.6 tiles).
- Damage steadily decreases down to 68% of its maximum at 20 meters (4 tiles).
- Damage decreases down to 52% of its maximum at 30 meters (6 tiles)
- It deals damage until 60 meters (12 tiles).

- Most of the tips and counters on the Combat Shotgun's page can also be applied to the Modular Combat Shotgun.
- A Weapon Mod combination of the Suppressor and Laser can allow the Modular Combat Shotgun to have not only a very tight pellet spread, but also reduce its already somewhat quiet firing sound (for a Shotgun, that is), to almost no sound, rewarding stealthy plays, and aggressive plays.

- Modular Combat Shotgun resembles the Benelli M2 Super 90.[1]
- It is configured into a Taran Tactical M2 Ultimate 3 Gun, which is the exact same as the one that appears in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
- The way the player reloads the gun is very similar to how John Wick himself reloads it in the film, using a technique known as a Quad Load.
- Despite the Modular Combat Shotgun being unable to equip the
Speedgrip, it is still able to appear with the Close Quarters prefix, to where it would have no Underbarrel Mod equipped.
