Cupid's Crossbow

Functionality[]

The Cupid's Crossbow is a projectile based semi-auto weapon that fires a fast moving bolt, which is affected by gravity. The weapon has a slow rate of fire, makes very little noise when shot, and has a projectile that whilst fast, is slower than those of other Sniper Rifles.

Cupid's Crossbow is a Projectile weapon. It has a scope, so first shot accuracy is irrelevant. There is no damage falloff on the Crossbow's projectiles.

• It is very difficult to take down structures using Cupid's Crossbow, as it only deals half the normal damage to them at a very slow fire rate.
• Cupid's Crossbow plays very similarly to a Sniper Rifle, and should be used as such.
• The notches near the bottom of its scope can be used to account for its bullet drop. If your first shot is too low to hit your opponent, aim with the next notch down to land your follow-up shot.
• It's slow fire rate makes it unsuited for close and medium ranges, as weapons like the Assault Rifle will almost always beat it.
• Cupid's Crossbow is one of the most silent weapons in the game, even more so than most suppressed weapons. As such, it's likely that if you miss your first shot, your opponent may not even notice.
  • If the shot lands near the opponent, they may hear the kissing sound effect and know they're being shot at.
• Cupid's Crossbow benefits greatly from landing headshots, as it can one shot kill with a headshot in any playlist, doing up 260 damage to the head.
• Despite its scope being very similar to those of sniper rifles, Cupid's Crossbow doesn't feature sniper glint. Because of this, you can stay aimed at your opponent for long durations of time without giving away your position.
