The WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols are a Pistol in Fortnite: Battle Royale, that were added in Chapter 6: Mini Season 1.
Functionality

The WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols are fast firing blaster that excel at close range combat. The weapon has infinite ammo but will overheat after firing a few shots and will need to cool down. The cooldown period can be manually entered by pressing the reload key after shooting for a bit.
The WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols can continuously fire for 2.57 seconds or 18 shots before it overheats. This can be extended by waiting a bit between each shot.
WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols is a hitscan weapon with First Shot Accuracy disabled.

- The WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols are best when used in a similar manner to the Dual Pistols, as while the WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols have a higher fire rate and lower damage, they both have a very similar DPS per rarity, and fill a similar niche, firing in 2 round bursts and being better suited to close range engagements.
- Despite the WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols not having First Shot Accuracy, they have a very tight spread, making them decently suited to mid-range engagements.
Counters[]
- The WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols are on the lower side on DPS out of the close-range weapons in Galactic Battle, so using a weapon like the F-11D Blaster or CR-2 Blaster can be beneficial in close range fights against an opponent wielding the WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols.
