Egg Launcher

Functionality[]

The Egg Launcher shoots out an egg projectile which is affected by gravity and sticks to surfaces, but not players. After a short time the egg explodes dealing explosive damage to players and structures. This egg can deal damage to the player who shot it. These eggs deal more damage to structures than they do players and cannot headshot.

The Egg Launcher shoots a Slow Moving Projectile. It has First Shot Accuracy enabled, but as it is an Explosive Weapon, it is largely irrelevant.

There is no damage falloff on the Egg Launcher's projectiles, but they will bounce, and stick to surfaces for a short time before exploding.

• The Egg Launcher is especially useful for taking down structures and can deal significant player damage.
• Be very careful when using the Egg Launcher at close ranges as it's easy to damage yourself with it.
• The Egg Launcher can be especially useful in Zero Build for taking out an opponent's Port-A-Bunker or bush.
• If you have an opponent boxed up without a cone on top, place a cone on it, edit the cone, fire the Egg Launcher into the cone, and then reset the cone. When the egg explodes, pull out a shotgun to deal high damage through the opponent's turbo-building.
• The Egg Launcher is especially useful in a competitive setting for draining the materials of your opponents.
• The Egg Launcher is very useful for dealing with opponents in confined spaces, especially vaults.
• Don't fire the Egg Launcher at an opponent in open space since they can fairly easily walk or sprint out of the blast zone.
• If an opponent is hiding in a building, fire the Egg Launcher into the windows to open it up and destroy their cover.
• If an opponent is actively chasing you, you can fire the Egg Launcher directly downward. As you both move, the explosive egg will detonate on your opponent while you escape the blast radius.

Counters[]

• The Egg Launcher can be very risky in close quarters engagements, as an opponent wielding it cannot fire it without risking taking damage from their own Egg. Take advantage of this by keeping a fight at close range when against an opponent wielding an Egg Launcher.
