Unstable Thunderclap DMR is a Marksman Rifle in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 6: Season 3.
Unstable Thunderclap DMR is an Exotic version of the Deadeye DMR.
Functionality
Functionality[]
Unstable Thunderclap DMR is a fully automatic, slow firing marksman rifle with custom, 2x magnification scope. It supports Weapon Canting.
On its first, fourth, seventh and last shot, the Unstable Thunderclap DMR will fire an explosive round, which deals 40 damage in a 5 meter radius.
Unstable Thunderclap DMR fires a Fast Moving Projectile that is affected by gravity. It has First Shot Accuracy enabled.

- The Unstable Thunderclap DMR is on the higher side when it comes to damage in the DMR category, while also firing the same projectiles as the Modular Huntress DMR, making the Unstable Thunderclap DMR very powerful at range.
- Hitting headshots, or all your shots in general, is crucial with the Unstable Thunderclap DMR, as it only has 10 rounds in its magazine, so every shot counts.
- The Unstable Thunderclap DMR can also be used somewhat beneficially as a way of forcing enemies out from cover with it's explosive bullets.

- Staying in close-to-mid range when engaged with an opponent wielding the Unstable Thunderclap DMR can be beneficial, as the low fire rate and small magazine greatly reduce it's close range effectiveness.
