Midas' Drum Gun is a fully automatic, fast firing, closer ranged weapon dealing high amounts of damage in a close quarters environment, but being much weaker at extended ranges due to poor accuracy.

Midas' Drum Gun is a Hitscan weapon and does not have First Shot Accuracy enabled.

Midas' Drum Gun is essentially an SMG in all but name, so it should be used accordingly.
Pairing Midas' Drum Gun with a high-damage, slow-firing shotgun, such as a Pump Shotgun, is an excellent combo. Fire your shotgun shot, then quickly switch to Midas' Drum Gun to finish the opponent off.
The very high DPS of Midas' Drum Gun paired with its high capacity makes it a great choice for destroying opponents' build pieces at close range.
- If the opponent is hiding behind a wall, you can destroy it with Midas' Drum Gun and replace it with your own wall, then edit the wall to get off a strong shotgun shot or spray at the opponent further with Midas' Drum Gun.

Like its original counterpart, Midas' Drum Gun is modeled after the American M1928 Thompson Submachine Gun. The model often associated with American Depression-era Mobsters, and not the Submachine Gun used in World War II.
- The fact that Midas is a Crime Boss and uses a Drum Gun is likely a nod to the Mobster association the weapon possesses.
Midas' Drum Gun would always appear in-game as a gold plated Drum Gun due to Midas' passive effect of converting held weapons to gold. Strangely, it used the regular Drum Gun icon, despite having a unique icon used in promotional material.
Midas' Drum Gun functions very similar to the pre-nerf Drum Gun, with it dealing incredible DPS and it requiring a nerf when being reintroduced albeit at a faster fire rate.
Midas’ Drum Gun was converted into Jules’ with the launch of Chapter 2: Season 3, requiring it to be fully remade in Chapter 4: Season 4 for later appearances.
