The Modular Hand Cannon is a Pistol in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 5: Season 2.
The Modular Hand Cannon has two Mythic variants called Modular Conductor Hand Cannon and Enhanced Hand Cannon.
The Modular Hand Cannon has a Hitscan, unmoddable version called Hand Cannon.

Modular Hand Cannon is a slow firing, heavy pistol that deals high damage to players and structures.
Modular Hand Cannon is a Projectile weapon with First Shot Accuracy enabled.
Damage falloff:
- Damage falloff begins at 50 meters (10 tiles).
- Damage decreases down to 85% of its maximum at 100 meters (20 tiles).
- Damage reaches its minimum value of 80% of its maximum at 275 meters (55 tiles).

- The Modular Hand Cannon, when equipped with a
Red Eye Sight or
Holo-13 Optic, has low recoil when fired, making it viable at long distances, even being able to compete with Assault Weapons. - The choices of weapon mods for the Modular Hand Cannon are entirely up to preference.
- The
Red Eye Sight and
Holo-13 Optic are both good optics for longs range.
- The
Thermal Optic is also a good choice for low light areas, however, the recoil may be a bit difficult to control, so the
Muzzle Brake is a viable barrel attachment to go with the
Thermal Optic. - The
Sniper Scope will make it difficult to control the recoil of the weapon at range, even with the
Muzzle Brake. It also has sniper glare while aiming down sights, making the player more noticeable. So, the
Sniper Scope isn't a great choice.

Suppressor is also a good barrel attachment to go with the
Thermal Optic, as it dampens the weapon's firing sound to help hide the player's location.

- The Modular Hand Cannon fires very slowly, so the choice of magazine attachments is up to preference.
- The
Laser attachment also radically improves hip-fire accuracy for pistols like the Modular Hand Cannon. It allows it to be a powerful combo weapon if followed by a shotgun shot.
- The

- While the Modular Hand Cannon is very powerful, it can be slow. The Modular Huntress DMR or Reaper Modular Sniper Rifle can be beneficial when against an opponent wielding a Modular Hand Cannon at long range engagements.
- The Modular Hand Cannon can also be easily overwhelmed in close range engagements, so keeping the gap between you and an opponent small and using an SMG can be beneficial.
