The Shield Breaker EMP is an Explosive Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale, added in Chapter 4: Season 4.
Functionality
Functionality[]
The Shield Breaker EMP disables electronic devices such as laser grids, Sentry Cameras, Turrets, Business Turrets, Cars, Vending Machines, Supply Drones, and Shield Bubbles for 10 seconds.
When used on an enemy player or on a teammate, they damage their shields without affecting health. If thrown into a fishing spot, it will cause the spot to release its supplies.
Additionally, throwing Shield Breaker EMPs at Vending Machines causes them to malfunction and drop 50–150 Bars. This can be done an unlimited number of times, but there is a short delay of a second or two before it can be triggered again.
