The High Stakes' Shotgun is a Shotgun in Fortnite that was added in Chapter 4: Season 4.
High Stakes' Shotgun is the Mythic version of the Wood Stake Shotgun.
Functionality

The High Stakes' Shotgun is a semi automatic weapon which fires a single precise, hit-scan stake instead of a spread of pellets like other shotguns. It is accurate at range and has poor hipfire, meaning accuracy is heavily rewarded. It deals more damage against Cube Monsters.
It can be reloaded whilst aiming down sights.

- High Stakes Shotgun is one of 2 shotguns in the game that doesn’t have a Max Damage Cap, the other one being the Heavy Shotgun.
- High Stakes Shotgun is the only weapon in the game with a different reload, depending on if the weapon was empty when the reload began or not.
- High Stakes Shotgun has an unused ability where the more stakes that are in something, the more damage the stakes will do.
- It’s non-mythic variant was built by Joni the Red of The High Stakes Club.[1] Given the name High Stakes’ Shotgun it is likely to have been built by her too.
