Lightsabers

Functionality[]

Lightsabers primarily act as a Melee Weapon, meaning they can be swung at players in close range to deal damage to them. The weapons do damage in different intervals and do not have a consistent damage per second. When using a lightsaber, the player will swing twice, do a spin attack for less damage three times, and then slam for the most damage.

Lightsabers will also block damage. Holding the aim down sight button will negate all types of damage except explosive towards the player. This will negate roughly 30 shots, before being put on a three second cooldown.

Stats[]

Lightsabers deal different damage depending on consecutive strikes. As such, they will deal 45, 45, 25, 25, 25, 150 damage. A strike deals 45, a spin 25, and a slam 150. As such, it does not have a consistent damage per second.

Strategy Guide[]

• Lightsabers cannot be used in water. Stay aware when in any body of water.
• Lightsabers may be able to deflect damage, but it can leave you vulnerable to attacks from other angles, especially after the cooldown begins.
• It may be difficult to close the distance using a Lightsaber, as enemies can easily kill you from longer ranges.
• When an enemy is blocking with their Lightsaber, use a fast-firing weapon to break your opponent's block. Alternatively, use explosive weapons as they cannot be deflected.
• In Zero Build modes or situations where you are unable to build, Lightsabers are an effective defensive tool. If you are exposed and without cover, use the block ability to protect yourself from enemy fire. However, as it can be broken, use the block conservatively and it is a priority to seek cover afterwards.
• When riding on a Wolf or Boar, the attack speed becomes a very consistent 2 swing attack motion and the damage is reduced from 40 to 39. While slightly weaker than normal this makes the weapon extremely effective at hit and runs against enemies as the fast attack motion can devour any foes stuck in range. Plus you aren't restricted in your movement and are much faster at it, making it a little more challenging to damage you.
