Modular Monarch Pistol is a Pistol in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 5: Season 4.

Modular Monarch Pistol has a Mythic variant called Doctor Doom's Monarch Pistol.

The Modular Monarch Pistol has an alternative version called Monarch Pistol in the Day of Doom LTM and a Hitscan, unmoddable version called Monarch Pistol.

Functionality

Functionality[]

The Modular Monarch Pistol is a fully automatic, accurate pistol that. When hipfiring, the weapon has a decent fire rate and damage output. When aiming down sights, the weapon deals more damage and sees a drastic increase in accuracy, at the cost of a slower fire rate.

The Modular Monarch Pistol is a Projectile weapon with First Shot Accuracy enabled.

Damage falloff:

Damage falloff begins at 50 meters (10 tiles).
Damage steadily decreases down to 98% of its maximum at 80 meters (5 tiles).
Damage reaches its minimum value of 96% of its maximum at 107 meters (21.2 tiles).

The Modular Monarch Pistol can be used very similarly to the Modular Hand Cannon, but also doesn't suffer as harshly at close range as the Modular Hand Cannon due to its higher hipfire fire rate.
The best attachment combination for the Modular Monarch Pistol consists of the 1.15x scope, Drum Mag, Muzzle Brake, and Laser, as the 1.15x scope has the least visual kick of the scopes on this weapon, and allows you to take more advantage of the weapons ranged prowess. The Drum Mag increases the magazine capacity to 9, allowing for more shots and, effectively, more forgiveness for missing a shot at range. The Muzzle Brake reduces the already low recoil of the weapon, and the Laser will increase its hipfire effectiveness, allowing you to use it more effectively at close range.
The Modular Monarch Pistol can substitute for a Shotgun in early game, due to its high damage per shot and large magazine.

The Modular Monarch Pistol rewards accuracy, but is challenging to use against a moving target. Carrying mobility items to evade shots and close the gap between yourself and an opponent wielding a Modular Monarch Pistol can be very beneficial.
