The Hyperburst Pistol is a Pistol in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 6: Season 3.

Hyperburst Pistol has a Mythic variant called the Enhanced Hyperburst Pistol and an Exotic variant called Unstable Voltage Burst Pistol.

Functionality

Functionality[]

Hyperburst Pistol is a fast firing, 3-round burst pistol with stellar accuracy. It does not suffer an accuracy penalty while moving and jumping.

Hyperburst Pistol is a Hitscan weapon, with First Shot Accuracy enabled.

Damage falloff:

Damage falloff begins at 30 meters (6 tiles).
Damage goes down to 85% of its maximum at 48 meters (9.3 tiles).
Damage reaches its minimum value of 78% of its maximum at 105 meters (21 tiles).

Hyperburst Pistol can be reloaded whilst aiming. It can be aimed down sights while in midair, but only in modes that have this mechanic enabled.

The Hyperburst Pistol is highly accurate, as it has First Shot Accuracy, and it's bursts have very little delay between them, so hitting headshots can be very beneficial to kill an enemy even faster.
Keep in mind that the Hyperburst Pistol only has 24 rounds, or 8 full bursts, before needing to reload, and will go through those rounds very fast, so try to keep within close range when using the Hyperburst Pistol in an engagement.
The Hyperburst Pistol is best paired with a shotgun such as the Sentinel Pump Shotgun or Outlaw Shotgun, as you can hit a high damage shot on an enemy with your shotgun, then switch to the Hyperburst Pistol and finish the job.

Counters[]

While the Hyperburst Pistol is very accurate, and deadly in a good players hands, it has very weak base damage, and runs out of ammo fast, so at mid range, a weapon such as the Spire Rifle, Fury Assault Rifle, or Veiled Precision SMG will give you an advantage over an enemy wielding the Hyperburst Pistol.
Because of the limitations mentioned above, the Hyperburst Pistol can also be a little unforgiving at close range, so carrying a Surgefire SMG or Twinfire Auto Shotgun can be beneficial against an enemy wielding it in close-quarters.
