Lawless Stink Rifle is a Sniper Rifle in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 6: Season 2.
Lawless Stink Rifle is the Exotic version of the Hunting Rifle.
Functionality
Functionality[]
The Lawless Stink Rifle is a weapon that fires a single fast-moving, projectile bullet. Upon impact, the bullet creates a stink cloud that lasts for 8 seconds. The weapon is not fitted with a scope but has more zoom than a regular weapon and has one bullet in its magazine.
Lawless Stink Rifle is a Projectile weapon with First Shot Accuracy enabled.

- The Lawless Stink Rifle can be used to push an opponent out from behind cover by firing near them and forcing them to either leave or take damage from the Stink Cloud.
- Unlike its regular Hunting Rifle counterpart, the Lawless Stink Rifle has a much more forgiving bullet travel, making shots much easier to hit.

- Before the Lawless Stink Rifle was officially released, it was possible to get into the Black Market Backrooms and obtain it early through a glitch.
- Despite being based on the Chapter 6 Hunting Rifle, the Lawless Stink Rifle uses the same projectile as the Chapter 1 version.
- The stink cloud duration of the Cobalt Slingshot was increased in a November 18th 2025 hotfix, which also affected this weapon and the Primal Stink Bow.
- This weapon uses the Mythic Hunting Rifle's intended stats.
- Since the Mythic Hunting Rifle mistakenly uses its Legendary version's stats, this Exotic is the only weapon to use those stats.
