The Storm Scout Sniper Rifle is a Sniper Rifle in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Season 9.
Storm Scout Sniper Rifle has an Exotic version called Storm Scout.

The Storm Scout Sniper Rifle is an semi-automatic sniper rifle with the unique feature to locate, and track the next storm circle. When aiming down sights with this weapon, in the bottom left hand corner, there will be a small logo of the map, with the current circle, and the next circle present. This can be used to relocate into the storm circle before other players.
The Storm Scout Sniper Rifle is a Fast Moving Projectile. As it uses a scope, the fired bullet will always shoot from the center of the crosshair. There is no damage falloff on the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle's projectiles.

- As the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle has the unique feature of showing the next storm circle, this can effectively be used to stay inside the storm and move to a preferable position before enemy players do. This way you can catch enemies running from or out of the storm.
- The Storm Scout Sniper Rifle is a good weapon for beginners to sniping, as the larger magazine reduces the punishment for missing a shot.

- The Storm Scout Sniper Rifle has much less body damage than most snipers, and only one shot headshots against players in Builds, so a more experienced player with a regular Sniper Rifle would be at an advantage against an opponent wielding a Storm Scout, especially in Zero Build.

- The Storm Scout Sniper Rifle is the product of a mix-up during one of the patches in Season 4. By accident, the Eye of the Storm Tracker was added to the game and provided the tracking function of the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle, but was an item instead of a weapon. The tracker was promptly removed, and later the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle was added to provide the storm tracking function to the game.
- The weapon is based off of the real world Shadowtrax8, an experimental firearm designed with advanced technology to increase accuracy.
- Prior to its release, the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle could've been obtained early via Presents in Creative before being patched two days later.
