Strategy Guide

Strategy Guide[]

Calculated - Emote - Fortnite This section outlines a strategy.
Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.
  • Due to the weapon's very quick fire rate and wide spread, it is more ideal to use it like an SMG rather than an Assault Rifle as it performs very poorly at medium/long range.
  • It is advised to carry this weapon with another longer ranged weapon, such as a Sniper Rifle, Mammoth Pistol, or another Assault Rifle to cover the Collateral Damage AR's weakness at long range.

Trivia

Trivia[]

  • The Enhanced Collateral Damage AR seems to be loosely based on the Q Honey Badger SBR. An AR-15 Carbine chambered in .300 Blackout.
  • Prior to Update v34.10, the Enhanced Collateral Damage AR was equipped with a Speed Grip Weapon Mod.
    • This could have been seen by either dropping the weapon (the Speed Grip was clipping through the rifle's pistol grip) or by going to a Mod Bench.
    • This was likely due to the weapon being based on the Fury Assault Rifle, which is also prefixed with the Speed Grip Weapon Mod.
  • The Enhanced Collateral Damage AR loses its Iron Sights when placed in interactable objects in Creative, such as an Item Placer.
    • This is also a trait similar to one's seen with the Modular Weapons, suggesting they share either similar code or were planned to have Weapon Mod capability.
      • Much like those weapons, the rarity glow does not affect the Iron Sights like they do on weapons pre-Chapter 5.
