The Enhanced A280-CFE Blaster Rifle is an Assault Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 6: Mini Season 1.

Enhanced A280-CFE Blaster Rifle is the Mythic version of the A280-CFE Blaster Rifle.

Functionality

Functionality[]

The Enhanced A280-CFE Blaster Rifle is a slow firing assault rifle, equipped with a custom scope, compatible with Canting. The weapon has infinite ammo but will overheat after firing a few shots and will need to cool down. The cooldown period can be manually entered by pressing the reload key after shooting for a bit.

The Enhanced A280-CFE Blaster Rifle can continuously fire for 5.18 seconds or 22 shots before it overheats. This can be extended by waiting a bit between each shot.

Enhanced A280-CFE Blaster Rifle is a Hitscan weapon, with First Shot Accuracy enabled.

Phasma's Blaster Medallion increases the amount of shots the Enhanced A280-CFE Blaster Rifle can fire continuously from 22 to 28 and decreases its cooldown time from 1.83s to 1.46s.
The Enhanced A280-CFE Blaster Rifle is best used in a similar manner to the Red-Eye Assault Rifle, acting as a sort of Assault Rifle/DMR hybrid, with a slow fire rate, average body damage, and a higher zoom scope.
The rangefinder on the scope of the Enhanced A280-CFE Blaster Rifle can be very useful when playing in modes with teammates, as you can call out enemy positions to teammates and the exact distance without marking them. This is especially important when actively engaging with an enemy, as often you won't have a chance to live ping them for your team.
