Fiend Hunter Crossbow is a Crossbow in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Season 6.

Functionality

Functionality[]

The Fiend Hunter Crossbow is a quiet, projectile full auto crossbow that fires a fast moving bolt, which is affected by gravity. It deals 4x damage to Monsters. Although it is not fitted with a scope, it has a similar zoom level to a Hunting Rifle.

The Fiend Hunter Crossbow has First Shot Accuracy enabled. There is no damage falloff on its projectiles.

Do not use the Fiend Hunter Crossbow to attack builds. For balance reasons, the Fiend Hunter Crossbow does 1 damage to structures, and so is incredibly weak at taking them down.
The Fiend Hunter Crossbow is useful for attacking enemy AI such as Cube or Ice Monsters. This is because both AI move slowly and in a set path, and the player does not need to worry about wasting ammo on them due to its infinite Crossbow Bolts ammo reserve.

The Fiend Hunter Crossbow is generally unsuited for close range engagements, so keeping within said range when engaged with an opponent wielding the Fiend Hunter Crossbow can be beneficial.
