Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun is a Submachine Gun in Fortnite that was added in Chapter 6: Season 2.
Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun is a Mythic version of the Drum Gun.
Functionality

Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun is a fully automatic, high damage Submachine Gun with a fast fire rate, and is equipped with a Vertical Foregrip and Thermal Optic that highlights all players in a golden color. [1]
Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun is a Hitscan weapon with First Shot Accuracy enabled, but only when not canting and aiming down sights.

- Unlike most Drum Gun variants, Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun doesn't have as harsh a recoil pattern until about 30 rounds of sustained fire. This, combined with the First Shot Accuracy and Thermal scope, allow this weapon to be very powerful at range.
- Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun is unique in that it has very little spread when Canted, unlike its regular counterpart. Because of this, Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun is a great contender for a two-weapon loadout.
- To use Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun in long ranges, either tap-fire it or fire it in bursts to control its recoil.

- Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun, while it has a fast fire rate, solid damage, and large magazine, can be a bit harder to hit shots with. Using a rifle that can take the same ranges as Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun while having more sustainable recoil, such as the Holo Twister Assault Rifle, can be very beneficial.
- Midas' Gilded Eye Drum Gun only has First Shot Accuracy when using its scope, which has a 2.1x zoom, meaning that in close range unless the wielder of the weapon uses its Canted sight, it will suffer a bit more in close-mid range compared to a more accurate SMG or rifle.
