The Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher is an Explosive Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Chapter 7: Season 2.
The Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher is an Exotic version of the Rocket Launcher.
The Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher is an alternate version of the Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher.

The Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher launches a rocket that creates a shockwave effect on impact, launching any players away from the point of impact. This weapon does not damage the user.
The Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher fires a fast moving projectile which is not affected by gravity.

- The Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher can be very good for mobility, but it is advised to conserve on its ammo, as Rockets do not spawn from ammo crates in Chapter 7: Season 2.
- The Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher can be very effective against vehicles and structures, as while it may not deal damage to the wielder, it does deal damage to opponents, meaning it can be used as a 2-in-1 offensive against players attempting to escape in a vehicle, as it will deal large amounts of damage, and the Shockwave effect will send them flying, putting space between you and an opponent so you can finish them off with an Assault Rifle of sorts.
- If you have good aim, launch yourself through the air with the Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher, then hit your opponent on the head for a high-hitting and hard to counter shot using a shotgun like the Dark Voyager's Obliterator.

- Much like the regular Rocket Launcher, the player needs to play carefully around the rockets via mastery of the movement or using mobility items. This is especially important as the Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher's rockets travel faster than the original and could even launch the player into a disadvantageous position.

- The Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher is almost identical in every way to the Lawless Shockwave Rocket Launcher, with the only difference being the icon and name.
- This even includes the Weapon ID, which is identical to the Lawless counterpart until the suffix, which is _EX instead of _X.
- Additionally, its assets are also in the same folders as the Lawless counterpart.
- Like its Lawless counterpart, the Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher's ability to send you up into the air might be a reference to the Rocket Jumper from Team Fortress 2 which doesn't damage you but will "Rocket Jump" the user into the air without taking damage.
- The Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher may also be inspired from the Dam Buster from Fortnite: Save The World by its Knockback abilities for a rocket launcher.
- The Lawful Shockwave Rocket Launcher is the second Explosive Weapon that cannot damage the player wielding it.
