Captain America's Shield is an Uncategorized Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was exclusively found in the Endgame LTM in Season 8.
Functionality

Captain America's Shield has two uses: It can be thrown to deal damage to players and structures, and can be used to block incoming damage. The Shield is thrown with the alternate fire button, and when thrown, the shield will deal damage, and then return to the player. If the Shield hits an object/wall, it will rebound for a while and will still damage opponents while in this state. The further the throw, the longer the shield takes to return. Blocking allows the player to negate incoming damage.

Captain America's Shield deals 175 damage on hit, and has no consistent Damage per Second due to the attack speed being based upon the range the shield has been thrown. The shield deals 100 Structure Damage.
