The Gold Splash is an Consumable in Fortnite: Battle Royale, introduced in Chapter 6: Season 2.

Functionality

Functionality[]

Gold Splash is thrown using the projectile arc to guide it. When they land near a player, they create a 1 tile wide splash. This heals the player +20 Effective Health, meaning it can heal Health or Shields. It can heal both friendly players and opponents.

Gold Splash grants the Gold Rush Effect, which increases your speed, how fast your Pickaxe swings, and how much damage your Pickaxe does against structures.

Gold Splashes can be thrown by holding the Aim button, however, they will splash like they were thrown with the attack button, and cannot be safely passed to another teammate without dropping the item.
