Armor of Doom is a Mythic Uncategorized Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 5: Season 4. It could have be found on the Isle of Doom by capturing the Cauldron of Power.
The Armor of Doom could also have been obtained by collecting the first Arcane Artifact in the Day of Doom Limited Time Mode.

The player will be teleported into the sky and forced to drop all their items, becoming Doom's Chosen by transforming into Ultra Doom and acquiring the following abilities and traits:

Leap
[]
Using it while in the air propels the player approximately 33 meters upward. If kept held, it allows the player to hover at a maximum of 10 m/s horizontally in the air, slowly descending. The player will also automatically start hovering if either Arcane Barrage or Scorch Beam is used while still in the air. If used while moving, it will also propel the player around 50 meters forward. The cooldown will only start refreshing once the player has landed.

Foot Dive

Can only be used while in the air after activating Leap. Dashes very quickly at the targeted location, dealing damage and high knockback inside the highlighted area.

Early Development Footage
- Armor of Doom is the first new item since Chapter 2: Season 6 to take up multiple slots in the inventory.
- The last new items to take up multiple slots were the Choppa parts from the Impossible Escape! Limited Time Mode.
- Just like Infinity Gauntlet and the Infinity Blade, it takes up all the slots in the inventory, and prevents the player from building.
- If the player is wearing the Doom Outfit and Doom's Cloak Back Bling with the Pandora's Armor Doom and Doom's Pandora Cloak styles equipped respectively, the styles will be retained when the player gains the Armor of Doom.
- Wielding the Armor of Doom makes the player much larger, matching the height of other significantly bigger Bosses, such as the Cube Assassin and Hades.
- If the player obtains a Victory Royale while wearing the Armor of Doom, it will display a unique Victory screen proclaiming "VICTORY von DOOM!".
- The wording is a reference to the emote Victory Von Doom, which could only be used after attaining a Victory Royale with the Doctor Doom Outfit.
- Unfortunately, if the player was wearing Doctor Doom or Doom, they cannot perform the emote after attaining a Victory Royale with the Armor of Doom as the item prevents emotes from being used.
- The Armor of Doom's Arcane Barrage and Mystical Gigabomb shares the same message feeds as Doctor Doom's Arcane Gauntlets.
- Arcane Barrage's player message feed will say "Player 1 blasted/knocked out Player 2 with Doctor Doom's Arcane Gauntlets".
- Mystical Gigabomb's player message feed will say "Player 1 devastated/knocked out Player 2 with Doctor Doom's Mystical Bomb".
- The Armor of Doom's Foot Dive is a reference to Doctor Doom's Foot Dive aerial move from Marvel Super Heroes and made famous in the Marvel vs. Capcom fighting game series.
- The Armor of Doom cannot be dropped from the player's inventory when obtained, similar to the Infinity Gauntlet.
- However unlike it, the Armor of Doom will also not drop when the player wielding it is eliminated.
- Prior to Update v31.30, despite the player's character adopting the appearance of Chapter 5: Season 4 Doom, the HUD icon displayed the original Chapter 2: Season 4 Doctor Doom Outfit.
- There are multiple bugs that can occur while using or obtaining the Armor of Doom, some of which significantly affect gameplay:
- Arcane Barrage can sometimes stop working;
- Scorch Beam can visually appear to be stuck on the player's hand;
- Leap can disable jumping. To fix this one, walk off a cliff and jump;
- Foot Dive can get stuck midair;
- Stamina can sometimes deplete, instead of being unlimited;
- If the player is knocked while claiming the armor in the Isle of Doom they will come down Knocked as Doom's Chosen with their shields intact, but their knocked HP ticking down from 100;
- If the player is eliminated before obtaining the Armor of Doom in the Day of Doom, upon respawning, the player will earn the armor, but they will not have the mask loaded, instead having Doom's unmasked head.
