Trivia

Trivia[]

  • Fortnite has been sued several times over its Emotes since their introduction. These lawsuits might have prompted the creation of the Icon Series rarity, which is mostly composed of collaborations with choreographers who get paid and (occasionally) credited for their Emotes.[3]
    • A document from the 2024 Disney megaleak shows that Epic Games asks licensors to verify their ownership of the Emotes before they are added.[4] Thus, lawsuits such as the Bye Bye Bye one might have been the result of licensors incorrectly claiming their ownership of the Emotes.
