Why are there two different numbers for Never Gonna's appearances? Never Gonna has, on at least one occasion, appeared in more than one shop in a single day. This has resulted in its count for appearances in the Item Shop being higher than the amount of days it has appeared in it. Both counts are listed by the Fortnite Wiki in order to be as accurate as possible, unlike other sources. |

- Never Gonna was the first Emote to have copyrighted audio.
- Although Scenario already existed back then, it uses an original remix of "LOVE SCENARIO" that at the time was not marked as copyrighted.
- When Never Gonna was first released, an "OP Outfit" slide was in the News Tab in an attempt to "Rick-roll" players. A silhouette of the fake "Outfit" appeared. It had four arms and what appeared to be a head similar to Cuddle Team Leader or Mecha Team Leader.
- Another attempt was made to "Rick-roll" players when Epic Games had uploaded a YouTube video called "Watch How This Bear Made The Unlikeliest Of Friends." The video featured Fishstick and Polar Patroller doing this Emote with the song in the background.
- In Update v15.30, Never Gonna's rarity was changed from Rare to Icon Series.
