Founder's Pack

Founder's Packs in Fortnite: Save the World gave players entry to the Early Access Season, offered a huge value on items such as Heroes, Schematics, and more.

Players who pre-ordered a Founder’s Pack received a four-day head start beginning on July 21st 2017, along with the Exclusive Storm Master Weapon Pack. Additionally, Epic Games partnered with Gearbox Publishing to distribute a boxed retail version of the game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Founder's Packs were discontinued on June 29th 2020 with Update v13.20, where Save the World left early access. Players who owned a Founder's Pack had their pack automatically upgraded to the next level free of charge. Ultimate Edition owners received 8,000 V-Bucks as compensation.

Legacy Founder's Packs[]

These Founder's Packs were available before and immediately following Fortnite's official Early Access release on July 25th 2017.

Due to abuses related to the Friend Codes generated in these packs, Epic Games removed them from both in-game and web stores on March 29th 2018. Epic Games had confirmed that on July 17th 2018, that these packs would be available for a limited time, with the exception of the Founders Pack.

On October 22nd 2018, Epic Games published a "Save the World: State of Development" blog post, where they stated that these packs would be available once again for a limited time during a 50% off sale.

On October 23rd 2018, all Founder's Packs were returned and were on sale until November 6th 2018. These packs returned once again on December 19th 2018, until January 8th 2019. Once again, on February 6th 2019, the packs returned until mid-February. These packs returned again on April 12th 2019.
