Trivia[]

• Peaceful Hips is based on the opening credits sequence for the second season of Peacemaker (2022).
• Peaceful Hips is the first and currently only DC Series Emote to be a choreography.
• Peaceful Hips was disabled on September 28th 2025 following the airing of the Peacemaker season 2 episode "Ignorance is Chris".
  • Due to the events that occur in the episode, it is implied that the choreography in the opening credits (and by extension the Emote) resembled the Swastika, a symbol prominently used by the German Nazi Party during World War II. Peacemaker had been roaming in an alternate universe known as Earth-X throughout the season, which explores what happened if Germany won World War II.
    • Further proof is given by an interview with the show's choreographer Charissa Barton, where she mentions there are references to the plot in it.^[1]
  • Following this, Epic Games released a statement: "We're disabling the Peaceful Hips Emote in Fortnite as we inquire into our partner's creative intentions in this collab emote." They also stated that should the emote not return, they would issue refunds to those that bought it.^[2]
  • Epic later stated that according to Warner Bros., there were no creative intentions to connect the Peaceful Hips emote to the episode. However, the choreography is set to be changed on the October 9th update to avoid confusion. Players will be able to refund the emote without a refund ticket.^[3]
