Trivia[]

• The Icy Grappler shares the same model as the Grappler, but features a frosted effect all over the item.
• The Icy Grappler was unvaulted and vaulted again in less than a day in Chapter 5: Season 1, resulting in a remarkably short windows for the item being available. It is also one of the only Exotic weapons to be vaulted solely because of a bug.
  • The Icy Grappler was able to be used in conjunction with the FlowBerry's Flow effect, along with a movement technique, to allow the player to reach ludicrous speeds that could not be matched by anything previously seen in-game.
  • The Icy Grappler was replaced with the Grappler as a consolation when it was vaulted.
• The Icy Grappler functions exactly like Ice Spice's Grappler.
