The Snowball Launcher is a seasonal Explosive Weapon in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Season 2 and is only available during Winter events.

Snowball Launcher has an Exotic version called The Big Chill.

Functionality

Functionality[]

The Snowball Launcher shoots out a snowball projectile which is affected by gravity and explodes immediately on impact, dealing explosive damage to players and structures in a small radius.

The Snowball Launcher shoots a Slow Moving Projectile. It has First Shot Accuracy enabled, but as it is an Explosive Weapon, it is largely irrelevant. There is no damage falloff on the Snowball Launcher's projectiles.

Avoid shooting a Launcher near yourself as it will deal the same damage to you as it does to enemy players.
You can shoot projectiles under a player and allow them to ride them. This is much more difficult than it is with a Rocket Launcher and is almost useless.

Counters[]

The Snowball Launcher is essentially a much worse, more inconsistent version of the regular Grenade Launcher, so carrying said weapon is basically a hard counter against the Snowball Launcher.

The Snowball Launcher and the Egg Launcher used to be reskins of the Grenade Launcher but they were updated to function differently from another.
