Winterfest 2025 was the sixth edition of the Winterfest Event in Fortnite that began on December 18th 2025 and concluded on January 5th 2026.

Winterfest 2025 marked a notable change to the Winterfest present system. Unlike previous Winterfest events, daily presents were not stackable, meaning players could only open one present per day. If too many days were missed, the corresponding presents were "returned to Lt. Winter's sack" and made unobtainable.

Trivia

Trivia[]

  • Several things were planned for the Harry Potter collaboration but were seemingly scrapped:
    • A Mythic item codenamed DivinePlowRuby, which uses a crudely drawn Harry Potter as a placeholder icon, was added in Update v39.00 before being removed from the files in Update v39.10. It would've functioned similarly to the Witch Broom.
    • Several POI changes were planned, which presumably would've added actual locations from the franchise, like Hogsmeade, as POIs on the map.[1][2] In the end, the closest thing to a POI change that made the cut was the addition of Harry Potter decorations in Crackshot's Cabin.
    • When equipping the Outfits from the Celebration of Hogwarts Set, a model for their glasses can be seen for a split second, meaning that the skins were planned at one point to have glasses, presumably as an edit style.[3]
      • The models for the male Outfits, except for Dynamic Dreamer, appear to be unfinished, as they are missing their teeth. This can be seen when using the Jubilation emote, or any emote where the character's mouth is opened.
      • Additionally, every Outfit in the set, as well as the Fiery Surprise emote, had different names and descriptions, which were later changed in a hotfix.
    • The selectable styles for the Bard's Gem Guitar share the same colors as the four Hogwarts houses, which led to speculation that it was meant to be part of the collaboration before having its Harry Potter iconography removed.
