Victory Crown

Functionality[]

The Victory Crown is a unique item which does not take up a slot in the player's inventory, rather it goes into its own slot where only one can be carried. The Victory Crown will boost the player's XP for eliminations and surviving by giving them unique accolades which grant more XP. When the player obtains a Victory Royale with a Victory Crown, the logo for the Victory Royale will be changed, becoming gold in color. The victor will also be given the Crowning Achievement emote, which displays a number (initially "1") that increases with each Victory Royale achieved with the Crown. The number resets at the start of each season, however the emote is not removed once obtained.

Players keep the crown between matches and can drop it for other players to obtain. It will display a message in the Elimination Feed each time someone drops the crown or obtains the crown. The player's name will also be highlighted in an animated golden color. The player will emit a golden glow for a short time if they are in possession of a Crown. The glow can be restored if you switch to another game mode then back to Battle Royale.

The Victory Crown can be obtained in several ways:

• Players can drop a Victory Crown, either by dropping it from their inventory, or by being eliminated. Players can then pick the crown up.
• Victory Crowns persist throughout matches if the player achieves a Victory Royale.
• Victory Crowns will be granted when a player gets a Victory Royale.

Unclaimed Victory Crowns will be marked on the compass and minimap for other players to see. If a Victory Crown does not get picked up after 1 minute of being on the ground, it will vanish.

Victory Crowns are disabled in Team Rumble, custom Battle Royale islands, and Blitz Royale.

• Wearing a Victory Crown will have an audible ping at the end of each storm phase, potentially alerting nearby enemies.
  • If you are a competitive player, it is best to drop the Crown at the start of the match, at Spawn Island or right after exiting the Battle Bus.
• You were able to gain a Victory Crown for every Blitz Royale win, making it quite easy to farm Victory Crown wins.
  • This method no longer works, as Victory Crowns (and Victory Crown wins) have been removed from the mode as of February 20th 2026.
