Squads is a game mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It was introduced in the Pre-Season.


Squads
	Drop In & Load Up
	Pick a landing spot and search for gear.
	Stay Inside the Eye of the Storm
	Deadly clouds are closing in. The Eye will shrink as the storm intensifies.
	Last Squad Standing Wins
	There can be only one winner.

Squads follow the standard set of rules, meaning there are 100 players; 25 teams of 4 members, who all compete to obtain a Victory Royale. Players can have up to three other squad members to fight alongside with in this mode.

Squads follows the basic rule-set of Battle Royale:

100 Players, all of which drop from the Battle Bus.
Squads enabled, up to a maximum of 4 players in each.
Standard Loot Pool.
Standard Gravity.
Standard HP rules.
Respawns are disabled.
Glider Redeploy is disabled.
Reboot Vans are enabled.
Skill Based Matchmaking is disabled.
Characters and Bars are enabled.
Regular Storm Circle intervals.
Players go into a downed-but-not-out state when they lose all of their HP.
Building is enabled.
