The Alien Jetpack is an Uncategorized Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 2: Season 7 exclusively for the Experiment.
Functionality
Functionality[]
The Alien Jetpack doesn’t take up a slot in the player’s inventory and doesn’t need to be held in order to be used. It can be activated by pressing the Jump button mid-air. The Alien Jetpack allows for a quick and strong boost upwards and in the direction the player is going.
It only has fuel for 1 boost which recharges when the player hits the ground or an Alien Launch Pad.
The Alien Jetpack has a small screen which shows the amount of time left inside the Experiment. When it gets below ten or above 1 minute 50 seconds, the timer will turn red.
The Alien Jetpack changes its color based on the number of Vault Orbs the player has collected.

As of Update v18.00, Alien Jetpack cannot currently be obtained in Battle Royale and Zero Build as it has been vaulted.

- During Operation: Sky Fire, Alien Jetpacks were hacked by Imagined Order and were used to display the countdown to the bombs' explosion, and for Doctor Slone to talk to The Looper.
