Seven Power Gloves

Functionality[]

The Seven Power Gloves has 3 functions: Punch, Directional Dash, and Uppercut Dash.

• Pressing the fire button while grounded will perform a punch, which will deal 50 damage.
• Pressing the fire button while mid-air will perform a Directional Dash after a brief delay, propelling the player in the direction they are inputting, and dealing 40 damage to opponents and structures that are hit. Aiming towards the ground will deal 40 splash damage to all surrounding opponents and structures in a small area. Performing a Directional Dash consumes a charge.
• Pressing the aim button performs an Uppercut Dash that launches the player and nearby opponents vertically, dealing 70 damage to opponents and surrounding structures in the way. Enemies hit by the Uppercut will take no fall damage. Performing an Uppercut consumes a charge.

The Seven Power Gloves has a non-renewable ammo reserve of 20, and a magazine size of 4. The magazine automatically reloads every 11 seconds. Using a charge reduces the ammo and magazine by 1. If there are no uses left on the Seven Power Gloves, they will be removed from the player's inventory.

• The Seven Power Gloves' offensive performance is generally outclassed by most weapons, so try not to use it for attacking to conserve its traversal capabilities.
• Use the Uppercut Dash to quickly gain height over an opponent or to scale large objects or structures.
• If you need to escape a bad situation, use the Uppercut Dash first, then use Directional Dashes to find cover and reset the fight.
• In modes with Building disabled, a risky but effective strategy is to use the Uppercut Dash on an opponent, quickly swap to a Shotgun like the Iron Pump Shotgun, and shoot them in the face. Follow up with a fast-firing weapon such as the Thunder Burst SMG if you need to finish them off.
  • If you can eliminate them before you hit the ground, this strategy can be incredibly useful if you're being 3rd-partied or are in a chaotic fight. You can use Directional Dashes while you're still airborne to get above other opponents, before Dashing into them.

Countering[]

• Make some distance from your opponent if they're using the Seven Power Gloves against you, and take them out with a Marksman Rifle like the Vector 7 DMR from afar, or an Assault Weapon from medium range like the Combat Assault Rifle. If you're unable to avoid a close range fight, a well placed shot from a shotgun can greatly turn the fight in your favor.
• Opponents using the Seven Power Gloves are extremely vulnerable while Dashing. If they're using them to reach you from a distance, use a ranged weapon to eliminate them before they get close.
