Waterbending is an Utility Item in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was introduced in Chapter 5: Season 2.
Functionality
Functionality[]
Waterbending can be used to throw quick ice projectiles in bursts of 3. The projectiles can cover large distances with little damage falloff and a fairly high headshot multiplier that stacks well with its burst firing capabilities. The number of available charges is indicated with a ring of water surrounding the player.
On top of its offensive capabilities, Waterbending heals the player for
5 Health per second while in a body of water unless the player is in The Storm. Waterbending also increases swim speed while equipped.
Waterbending is a Hitscan weapon that fires Projectiles after its target is over 25m away.
