Functionality

Functionality[]

The Bandage is used to heal Health - Icon - Fortnite 15 Health. It is only able to heal 75% of the maximum health value. Therefore, in a normal playlist, Bandage can heal up to 75 Health. Consuming one at less than 75 Health will cap the Health at 75, and attempting to consume one above will warn the player they have reached their 'Bandage Limit'.

The Bandage can be thrown by holding the Aim button and using the projectile arc to guide them. Once landed it will ping its location to squad-mates.

The Bandage can be used while moving

Calculated - Emote - Fortnite This section outlines a strategy.
Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic.
  • Bandage can be used to recover health inside the storm and prolong a players time inside it. However, they can only heal to 75 Health and take a decent amount of time for the health they recover.
  • Comparing Bandage to Small Fries, they both only heal the same amount and are both capped at 75 HP. While bandages take longer to heal, you can carry more than double the number of bandages than you can carry small fries. Keep this in mind when deciding between the two.
  • Bandages are one of the worst healing items in the game, and its usually best to swap out Bandages for a higher rarity healing item.
  • Its best to use Bandages after a fight while behind cover rather than while out in the open. Not only are you easier to hit like this, but opponents may see you healing and take advantage of your weakened state.
