The Carnage Symbiote allows players to grab opponents through several layers of structures. It also provides a speed boost and enables Glider Redeploy (the player’s glider will be changed to Dark Symbiote).

As of Update v18.20 (October 13th 2021), Carnage Symbiote cannot currently be obtained in Battle Royale and Zero Build as it has been vaulted.

• Since the Carnage Symbiote provides both mobility and an extra attack, it's an ideal item to carry.
• The Carnage Symbiote's grab attack can be used in conjunction with a high-damage shotgun. Grab your opponent with the Carnage Symbiote, then switch to the shotgun to deal high damage very quickly.
• You can combine the Carnage Symbiote with other speed-increasing items, such as Spicy Fish, to move incredibly quickly around the map.
  • Alternatively, you can combine the Carnage Symbiote with a Shockwave Grenade and sprinting to quickly launch yourself very high into the air, then deploy your glider at the apex of your jump for maximum distance.

Countering[]

• When you suspect an opponent will grab you with the Carnage Symbiote, switch to a shotgun. When the opponent grabs you, take aim and land a powerful shot to counter-attack.
  • This can also be done with a weapon that requires a charge before firing, such as the Charge Shotgun, Charge SMG, or Rail Gun.
  • Another option could be to use Black Panther's Kinetic Armor or Storm's Whirlwind Blast to knock your opponent away when they use the grab.
• You could attempt to use their super-speed against your opponent by hitting them with a Chiller Grenade. The frozen feet effect will make it difficult to stop moving and line up accurate shots.
