Trivia
Trivia[]
- It is referred to as "Shield Sprinkler" in the News Feed and in the official Fortnite twitter.
- After Update v19.01, it was in Creative mode for a short amount of time, but was removed quickly.
- The Shield Keg is Rare when held as an item, but is Common when thrown and marked.
- On introduction, the item was briefly disabled as players could throw one onto a high up player built structure and negate all fall damage. This was achieved by standing atop one, and breaking the structure, causing the keg to fall and the player to fall with it (The player was registered as not moving).
- This bug also occurred with the Gas Can on introduction.
- It was once possible to heal Shield and ride a vehicle by placing the Shield Keg on top. This is no longer possible as it will bounce off the vehicle when thrown.
- This can still be performed with a Car by attaching a Cow Catcher to it and placing the Shield Keg on it.
