The Surfboard is a Vehicle in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was added in Season 9.
Functionality
Functionality[]
The Surfboard seats one player, who has their feet settled on the board's magnets. The board hovers slightly above the ground using anti-gravity propellers, and can move forwards, backwards, jump and boost for a short burst of speed. The driver can also lean backwards and forwards in the air to build up trick score. This has no effect aside from visuals.
The Surfboard moves very slowly and can baraley jump when on land but speeds up when hovering above water.
Players operating the Surfboard can also shoot their own weapons, heal and emote, all whilst maintaining the momentum they have gathered. They cannot initiate movement whilst performing such actions however.

- This used to just be a reskinned Surfboard during the 14 Days of Summer event but its functionally was changed to unique when it was added to Creative in Chapter 2: Season 6.
