The Hand Cannon is a Pistol in Fortnite: Reload that was added in Chapter 7: Season 1.
The Hand Cannon has two Mythic variants called Conductor Hand Cannon and Enhanced Hand Cannon and an Exotic version called Lawless Breacher Handcannon.
The Hand Cannon is the unmoddable version of the Modular Hand Cannon.

The Hand Cannon is a slow firing, heavy pistol that deals high damage to players and structures.
The Hand Cannon is a Hitscan weapon with First Shot Accuracy enabled.
Damage falloff:
- Damage falloff begins at 50 meters (10 tiles).
- Damage decreases down to 85% of its maximum at 100 meters (20 tiles).
- Damage reaches its minimum value of 80% of its maximum at 275 meters (55 tiles).

- The Hand Cannon rewards patience, as the Sniper Scope that comes prefixed heavily punishes you for firing too many repeat shots. This is similar in manner to a DMR, however in many ways is better, as compared to the average DMR, the Hand Cannon has higher body, headshot, and structure damage, and is hitscan, meaning it can take advantage of these properties very reliably.
- Accuracy is heavily rewarded with the Hand Cannon, as in Legendary rarity, it is capable of doing 169 damage a headshot, making it able to reliably 2 shot in any game mode as long as you are accurate.
- The Hand Cannon has high structure damage, making it a good weapon to pick away at an opponent's cover from range before engaging with them.
- Another advantage the Hand Cannon has compared to weapons of a similar nature, such as snipers and DMRs, is that is has a very fast reload time, meaning that you can reliably keep pressure on an enemy if they attempt to flee an engagement.

- The Hand Cannon's slow and powerful nature makes it highly unsuited for close range fights, so having a faster firing Pistol, such as the Suppressed Pistol, or a dedicated SMG such as the Compact SMG, can be very beneficial against a player wielding a Hand Cannon.
- Due to having Sniper Glare, using this weapon while ADS can give away your position if you prefer to play stealthy. Enemies can use this to rush to your position and catch you off guard if not prepared.
