Strategy Guide
Strategy Guide[]
|
This section outlines a strategy. |
| Feel free to add tips, tricks and general advice about the topic. |
- The Combat Shotgun comes prefixed with a Suppressor and Vertical Foregrip, making it a very rewarding shotgun for accurate and stealthy players, as it allows you to hit higher damage shots at longer ranges than average with a shotgun, while also staying off of enemy players compasses.
- The Combat Shotgun is unique in that it reloads 2 shells at a time, making this gun very good for sticky situations in which you need to reload in a close-range fight, as you can reload 2 shots quickly, and then rapidly fire them at an opponent back to back. This is best paired with a fast firing weapon such as the Striker AR or Machine SMG to finish off said opponent.
Counters[]
- The Combat Shotgun, in exchange for it's tight spread and fast fire rate, has a lower than average damage per shot compared to the rest of the Shotgun category. Using a Shotgun with a higher damage or even faster fire rate, such as the Gatekeeper Shotgun or Thunder Shotgun can be advantageous against an opponent with a Combat Shotgun.

Trivia
Trivia[]
- The Combat Shotgun resembles the Benelli M2 Super 90.[1]
- It is configured into a Taran Tactical M2 Ultimate 3 Gun, which is the exact same as the one that appears in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
- The way the player reloads the gun is very similar to how John Wick himself reloads it in the film, using a technique known as a Quad Load.
- The Combat Shotgun and Mysterio's Sovereign Shotgun are currently the only weapons in their class to be Suppressed from the get go, without the need to be modded at a Mod Bench.
