Item Shop Appearances
Item Shop Appearances[]
Mercenary Kor has appeared in 21 different Item Shops on 20 different days.
|
Why are there shops labelled as 'parts'? For varying reasons, Epic Games may decide to add or remove items from the Item Shop before the usual rotation occurs. The Fortnite Wiki treats each change to the Item Shop within a single day as a separate 'part' that makes up the day's Item Shop History. |
Why are there two different numbers for Mercenary Kor's appearances? Mercenary Kor has, on at least one occasion, appeared in more than one shop in a single day. This has resulted in its count for appearances in the Item Shop being higher than the amount of days it has appeared in it. Both counts are listed by the Fortnite Wiki in order to be as accurate as possible, unlike other sources. |

Boss Items[]
Kor dropped the following items when eliminated. She also dropped a Healing Item.
| Kor's Deadeye DMR | Shrouded Striker Medallion |

For long range and close range combat Kor used a Legendary Deadeye DMR and Hyperburst Pistol respectively. She wouldn't have dropped either weapon when eliminated.

Behavior
Behavior[]
When the 1st Storm circle closes in, Kor's Arena will emerge through a Rift, where Kor will be ready for battle in the center of the largest island while filing her nails. She will immediately get suspicious of any players entering Kor's Arena regardless if she has a direct line of sight or not.
In combat, Kor will crouch down on various high places as her prosthetic eye will project a blue laser and lock onto her target for a moment, making it extremely difficult for her to lose sight of the player. After a short period, she will fire her Deadeye DMR to her target with strong tracking and only stop firing once she's nearly or is out of ammo.
If Kor receives enough damage while crouched, she will quickly reposition to another spot.
Special Abilities
Special Abilities[]
- Demon Enhanced Leaps
- Leaps around the arena, particularly reaching for different high up locations on the various islands.
- In other cases, Kor may leap towards her target and brandish her Hyperburst Pistol to close the distance, after which she will leap away or Crimson Void Warp to another spot.

- Crimson Void Warp
- In cases where Kor cannot use Demon Enhanced Leaps to reposition, she will instead vanish through a crimson red portal and emerge on her chosen position.

- Invisibility
- Once Kor is at half health, she will start to turn invisible after repositioning to a high position. She is still able to attack while invisible until she receives 50 damage. The invisibility will naturally wear off if Kor switches her combat form to close range.
- Summoning Minions
- Kor summons 1 or 2 Light Demon Guards to aid her in battle. She will initially use this ability once the first time she brandishes her Hyperburst Pistol, and constantly with a cooldown in-between spawns once she reaches half health.

Elimination Feed[]

- Player was taken out by Kor.
Trivia
Trivia[]
- Kor's codename is KorBoss.
- Kor has the second most voicelines out of all the Battle Royale Bosses so far. Beating out Shogun X and falling behind Daigo with 212 total voicelines.
- Kor is the first Boss affiliated with the Demon Warriors to not be Much Larger or bigger, instead only being Slightly Taller like most other Bosses.
- Kor is also the first Demon Warrior Boss to not have a red crumble effect when eliminated, likely due to not being a demon.
- When breaking obstacles, Kor wields the Kor Flails as her Pickaxe.
- Kor's Threatened to Defeated combat music and stingers are slightly sped up in-game compared to how they actually sound in the files.
- If the player is able to get close enough to Kor while she is idle, they will not be able to mimic her Nailed It Emote.
- The only way to get Kor to lose sight of the player is to hide long enough without her getting a glimpse of her target for long enough. This is easier done by entering one of the towers in Kor's Arena.
- Because Kor relies on her prosthetic eye to track her target, she will never scope in her Deadeye DMR unless she takes it out while her combat form is close range.

History
History[]
Chapter 2: Season 8[]
During the time The Looper was still part of the Imagined Order, she helped to train them in long range combat. At this time, she was already a contracted mercenary for the IO. Although she tried to hide her ties, especially with Slone, as much as possible, she would carry out multiple assassinations.[2]
Chapter 3: Season 3[]
She remained affiliated with the IO until their defeat and following disbandment at the end of Collision, which left her without an employer. However, she quickly found work again, infiltrating the beach during No Sweat Summer as Undercover Kor for her next mission.
Chapter 6: Season 3[]
At some unspecified point after Daigo's transformation into a demon, the now-controlled Daigo recruited Kor to be part of his demon army, as his Lieutenant. Instead of being mind controlled, she swore herself to darkness for "the right price". As a result, Mask Maker Daigo made her a Mask of Power, boosting most of her abilities and giving her magical powers, becoming Mercenary Kor.
Look Up[]
Kor, along with the mercenaries under her command and her demonic soldiers, pursued Fishstick into the Arctic Tundra. However, the latter managed to find temporary solace by entering the Fortress of Solitude. Kor sent a demon and one of her mercenaries, Centurion, to scout ahead, both were eliminated after Fishstick found Superman's Call Crystal, transforming his body into Superman and letting him take control, worrying Kor and her troops.[3] Upon the successful transformation, he attacked the remaining mercenaries and demons alongside Krypto, leaving Kor alone to face them.
Epilogue[]
After Daigo was freed from demonic control from the Dark Presence, Hope assumes Kor's contract with the Demon Warriors ended, presuming Mask Maker Daigo was the client.
