Masks of Power

Overview[]

Masks of Power were dangerous tools crafted by a family of mask artisans after they became overambitious. The creation of these hazardous masks of ruinous properties resulted in a historical event known as the "Shattering War". After the war, magic was banished, and most masks were shattered. The Fox Clan was blamed for the incident, as the masks were created by their suppliers.

Ages later, when this story was thought to be no more than myths and legends in most eyes of Oninoshima's inhabitants, Demons returned alongside the Masks of Power.

True Masks of Power
	Dark Presence Mask Ancient demonic masks from the Shattering War era. The mask requires a large amount of dark magic to activate, once triggered it will periodically make ominous noises and strange whispers. The masks were used by Daigo to open Spirit Realm Portals to the location of the Dark Presence. Three of these masks could be found in Demon's Domain.
	The Puppeteer Giant demonic masks that allows the user to remotely control living being as puppets.
	Daigo's Kintsugi Mask Daigo's personal mask forged from six Kintsugi Oni Masks during The Confrontation Event. Its element is Chaos Magic. Another has been created by Daigo and found by Big Dill.
	Overlord Spire A sentient stone monolith with an Oni mask capable of manipulating multiple magic elements.
	Scout Spire A sentient stone monolith with an Oni mask that can fire a laser beam.
	Mask Maker's Masks Mask Maker Daigo's personal shields.
	Corrupted Kintsugi Mask Evolution of Daigo's personal Kintsugi Mask, after being corrupted by the Darkness. It kintsugi-mended itself onto Daigo's face, making it unable irremovable.
	Kor's Kintsugi Mask Kor's personal mask forged by Mask Maker Daigo. It allows her to use Void magic, become invisible, and increases her physical capacities.

Rudimentary Masks of Power
	Kane's Mask Mask created by Daigo through dark magic. Used by Fletcher Kane and his Pack Leader. The mask can be found in Lonewolf Lair.
	Haruka's masks Masks created by Daigo through dark magic. Used by Haruka of the Masks.
	Kintsugi Oni Masks Kintsugi Mask's prototypes. Merged into the singular Kintsugi Mask.
	Jade's Mask A mask created by Daigo and given to Jade to protect her. This mask accidentally amplified her demonic curse, trapping her in the Spirit Realm with no way out.
	Alpha Guards' Masks Masks created by Daigo. They allow Alpha Guards to use Void magic.

Trivia[]

• Although similar to the Masks of Power, the Fox Clan's masks are not classified as such.
  • Their notable difference with the Masks of Power is that they don't use dark magic.
  • The Fox Clan's masks served, however, as templates to create the Masks of Power.
