LEGO® Fortnite Expeditions was a mode in LEGO Fortnite that was released on June 18th 2025.
Gameplay

Congratulations on your acceptance Supernova Academy. At this elite training program, you'll hone your new Superpowers, master advanced weaponry, and venture out on Super Squads to complete dangerous missions!
Face Mask Maker Daigo's forces as you blast enemies with plasma pistols, slice with dual daggers, or wield a mighty war hammer.
Gain Hero XP on Super Squads missions to earn upgrades an unlocks for your Hero Class.
Visit Training Terminals to upgrade your Superpowers at Supernova Academy.
Between missions, you can swap Hero Classes at a Training Terminal!
The Hunter: Hunt down targeted enemies.
Shadow Caller: Focus on arcane mysterious superpowers.
Rift Ripper: Harness the power of the Rift itself.
So, you made it back in one piece. Now the real training begins.
Go on Missions and do Assignments to earn Hero XP. Spend Hero XP to level up your Hero Class Powers!
Find Weapons and Gadgets out on Missions, or use Essence to buy them from Fetch's Crew at the Academy.
Nothing goes to waste, hero. Recycle Weapons and Gadgets to get Essence.
Missions

Daigo’s Spires and the rest of his forces have started spawning all across the world and are causing chaos everywhere! Gather your strength, and your fellow heroes-in-training, to put an end to his schemes… In co-op Missions, take down forces of evil that appear in waves. Go on a detour by exploring the map and aiding citizens in need of rescue! You can also find Chests packed with resources, currency, or gear to help with your heroism.
Access Missions from the Academy hub at the Mission Terminal. At the terminal, either find a specific Mission, or choose Quick Play to join the next available Mission that needs players.
Missions in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions can take place in one of these places in the world:
- Utopia City
- Spire Excavation Site
- Busted Bridge
- Demon's Domain
- Supernova Academy

Shadow Callers can fly to survey the battlefield, swoop in and summon Shadow projectiles, or enter Shadow Form to transform into a flock of invulnerable ravens. - LEGO Fortnite Expeditions was sunsetted on November 1st 2025 with the addition of Hero Classes in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey.
- The mode was teased by the first letters of posts on the official LEGO Fortnite account spelling out "expedition." This led to Epic making an intentional typo ("xall" instead of "call") in one of their posts.
- The codename for this mode is Mars.
